The Melting Pot is a commentary on our society and the tearing apart of ideals that has been happening for decades. We are no longer one nation undivisible, we are one nation divided everywhere you look. The piece is an attempt at gonzo poetry and is not meant to be a political cry to arms or peace.

In the book there is a dualistic vision of a removed narrator constrasting with the author’s novel thoughts on the continuing struggle to grasp the dystopian world.
